Bangor Football Shirt

Bangor decided to introduce an away strip that would be worn at all away matches even if there wasn't a colour clash. This was to attract a second shirt sponsor.

While the idea was brilliant, the choice of a shirt that included none of the traditional yellow and blue caused a stink amongst the more traditional minded fans and led to campaign on the internet for it to be dropped.

The shirt was referred to as the "Bangomagh" shirt as it was very similar to Omagh Towns kit.
