Special Shirt 2007 to 2008

Submitted by: Adam Parris - Added to website: 29th July 2007

This is a "one-off" shirt used for the testimonial celebrations for Kerry Mayo, Brightons Left-Back Ginger Prince. An All-Stars game was arranged featuring Brighton players from the past, including Peter Ward, Jummy Case, Gerry Ryan, Rod Thomas and Robbie Reinault. The two teams were issued unique one off kits. This kit was worn by the team with Peter Ward. The final score, 2-2, and yes,

He Shot,

He Scored,

It mus be Peter Ward!

This is the shirt worn by Adam Parris who won a local newspaper competitiion to play in the match.

Limited edition shirt which I bought after the Kerry Mayo testimonial match. It was worn by Steve Melton who played for Brighton 46 times after joining in 2000. He had played at Stoke and Nottingham Forest beforehand, and went on to join Hull City in 2002, and scored the very first goal at the KC Stadium.
